Kristen (Mum of Keanu - 22 months)
I cannot recommend Ellie and her work enough.
Our son is almost 2 and we have been rocking him to sleep since birth. He’s always been what we thought was ‘low sleep needs and this year his sleep was worse in the evenings than when he was a newborn with multiple wakings in the night, late bedtime to avoid early wakes, not sleeping enough in a total 24-hour period and split nights even outside of teething and regressions, this was our new normal. We tried to soldier on but after almost two years of broken sleep, we were struggling to say the least.
Thankfully I met Ellie, I am really glad I was open to this, and she really saved us! I was apprehensive about our son being willing to even sleep 12 hours a night in one stint and 1.5-2 hours a day for a nap, but Ellie was so confident and so knowledgeable, I really believed with her help we could get this right after our first chat.
The first night was hard but Ellie assured me that it gets worse before it gets better, that it would be so worthwhile and boy was she right! She explained to me how the night might look in advance and this really allowed me to mentally prepare.
Every step that came next Ellie was able to predict; “He may wake a few times tonight” or “He is right on the verge of a breakthrough” she said the night he finally slept through, and she was always spot on.
Ellie kept me focused on how much progress we made each day with daily phone calls and an action plan for nap time and the night to come; she was so positive and supportive during such a big transition for us and our son and kept everything in perspective. Her support made it so much easier to continue on.
By the second night I could not believe our son laid down all by himself to fall asleep, transferring him had become so difficult once we rocked him to sleep previously, now we are able to just pop him in his cot, and he happily lays down to sleep.
We were always averse to any sleep training methods as secure attachment is so important to us as parents, but the process is gentle, responsive and tailored to your needs and goals as a family and maintains established secure attachment (we still room share).
I can see in hindsight that our son is actually thriving with the security of a routine; in just 10 days he is so much more confident during the day and speaking so much more. Ellie explained to us that restorative sleep during particular hours of the evening is very important for brain development, I also feel our son was very ready to learn this skill and is always happier gaining independence that comes with new skills. Learning to sleep independently is a skill that we had not helped him achieve prior.
Without Ellie, I would not know where to start, the amount of knowledge and innate understanding she has around this is invaluable. We now see this as a necessity and already in just a few nights of no night wakings we feel like new people who are able to be better versions of ourselves for our son.
I feel much more confident as a parent and my anxiety around sleep, work and trying to get things done is 'poof' gone. I cannot believe that we were ‘winging’ it all this time and I cannot believe that we were able to achieve this in just 10 days (with full night's sleep from night 7 and counting).
You are doing God’s work Ellie, and I will forever be grateful to you! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Ellie gave us the support and strategies we needed and on the very first night
Our 18-month-old was waking early, going to bed far too late (often 8:30pm), and stuck in the tricky transition to one nap. Ellie gave us the support and strategies we needed and on the very first night, our daughter slept from 6:30pm to 6am! It was honestly transformational. With Ellie’s calm guidance and support, we now have a consistent routine, earlier bedtimes, and restful nights. We’re so grateful for her help.

Kate (Mum of Ty - 4 months)
I wouldn’t have believed it. We’d just come back from a long trip and were in full survival mode
“If you’d told me 10 days ago this is where we’d be with our baby’s sleep, I wouldn’t have believed it. We’d just come back from a long trip and were in full survival mode, but we knew something had to change. The day we got home, Elle spent 90 minutes with us. No question was too silly, no challenge too big. She took the time to understand our goals, our baby, and us as a couple.
She warned us the process might “test us as parents and humans,” but honestly, it was way easier than I expected. Yes, there were tough moments. Sitting by our crying baby wasn’t easy. But seeing how well he bounced back the next day, and how secure he still felt with us, was incredible.
Elle reviewed our notes and called daily to help us tweak things each night. Every day brought us closer to our goal of one night feed, and within a week, our bub was putting himself to sleep. We’d do our bedtime routine, pop him in the crib, and walk out. He even naps like a pro now.
We’re beyond happy with the results, and I can’t imagine a more supportive, knowledgeable cheerleader than Elle. Would (and already have) recommend her to all our friends.“

Being first time parents is hard. Sleep deprivation is hard.
Travelling overseas to a different time zone with your baby is HARD! Having Elle alongside you offering support and guidance changes everything! Working with Elle took the guesswork away and made our sleep journey far less daunting. She was always a phone call or message away - even in the early hours of the morning.
She offered daily check ins and an unlimited supply of useful tips - even a tailored plan for our overseas travel. Having gone through this process with her son, Elle can empathise when challenges arise and offer genuine encouragement. Her own experience paired with her depth of knowledge makes her an excellent sleep coach. Highly recommend letting Elle sort out your baby's sleep!

Ria (Mum of Miles - 15 months)
Working with Elle was one of the most transformative experiences in my parenting journey.
I came into sleep coaching with hesitation, unsure if it would work for my baby, or for me. But Elle’s gentle, science-backed approach completely changed my perspective.
She took the time to explain sleep patterns and routines in a way that was both insightful and empowering. I learned so much about the “why” behind sleep behaviours, which helped me feel confident in the process. Elle was incredibly kind and patient throughout, always celebrating the small wins and reminding me not to be too hard on myself when things felt tough. Her support kept me going when I might have otherwise given up.
What stood out most was her flexibility and attentiveness. With another child to care for, I needed a plan that felt manageable, and Elle delivered exactly that. She welcomed all my questions (even the ones I worried were too much!) and made me feel heard and supported every step of the way. Her daily updates and follow-up notes kept me accountable, and she adapted the plan as we went to suit my baby’s needs and our environment.
The results speak for themselves: my baby went from needing help to fall asleep and waking multiple times a night with bottle feedings, to falling asleep independently with no tears, no night wakings, no bottles, and waking up happy. And as a bonus, I’m sleeping better too.
I truly can’t fault the experience. Elle’s style, her warmth, and her unwavering encouragement made all the difference. I’ll be recommending her to any friends struggling with their child’s sleep. She’s a game-changer!

THANK YOU Ellie!
I am absolutely over the moon with the amazing progress we've made in such a short time. Our nights were a constant struggle, multiple wakings with the main issue being 4 a.m wake ups, bringing Paris into our bed, and being used as a human dummy just to get him back to sleep.
With Ellie’s guidance we learned how to create better habits with a very gentle approach to help Paris fall asleep independently. The difference is incredible. He's now sleeping peacefully through the night, and we've finally got our evenings and much needed rest back. 💓💓

Elle was super, super dedicated throughout the entirety of our time with her.
Sufficient sleep is absolutely foundational for happiness, health and a well-functioning household… especially when a newborn has just entered the picture. When you’re exhausted, your overall health, work performance and ability to show up for your family dwindle, which is exactly where we were before finding The Baby Sleep Sanctuary.
When we met Elle, our 4-month-old son was up 3-4 times per night and napping less than 1.5 hours, for a total of less than 8 hours of sleep per day, nearly HALF of the recommendation of 12-16 hours for children this age.
By Day 10, we were up to 11 hours per day with only 1 wake up overnight.
By Day 20, we were near 13 hours with 3-4 consistent naps throughout the day.
Not only did this allow us to feel rested and in control of our schedule once again, but throughout the process we learned so much about the different techniques, guidelines and safety protocols, that we now feel much more confident navigating his sleep through travel, sickness, schedule changes etc.
Elle was super, super dedicated throughout the entirety of our time with her; making herself available for daily calls, ad hoc messaging when questions arose and proactively checking in to offer different insights as we went along.
She is kind, professional and, even though we’ve never actually met in person, felt like a friend while going through the process. Her communication was clear, comprehensive and encouraging.
If you’re in a similar position, sleep coaching is almost certainly a worthwhile investment for you, your partner & your children and Elle is very well-suited to help you through this journey!

Elly (Mum of Banksia - 5 months)
Working with Elle has been such a game changer for our family.
Our 5-month-old went from waking every 1-2 hours, to just twice a night in a single week! Bedtime used to mean hours of rocking and stressful cot transfers that never worked. Now she’s down in under 5 minutes and actually happy in her cot.
We wanted to find someone who could coach us through a gentle, hands-on method so that our little girl was never left to cry on her own or feel unsupported. Elle gave us exactly that. Her guidance stopped us from second-guessing ourselves, kept us consistent, and gave us the confidence to stick with the training. That accountability made all the difference. Now our nights are calm, we have more energy for parenting, and our little girl is happy, better rested and thriving.

Doug (Father of Sienna - 3 years)
Ellie came in with such a calm, clear plan that gave us the confidence to take each step without feeling overwhelmed.
When we first connected with Ellie, we honestly didn’t know how we were going to make it work. Sienna was 3yrs, still in a cot in our bedroom, because every time we tried her sharing a room with her brother, she’d wake him up. We felt stuck, we couldn’t see a way to move her out of our room without the whole house being turned upside down.
Ellie came in with such a calm, clear plan that gave us the confidence to take each step without feeling overwhelmed. First she helped coach us to get our son’s sleep on track, so we knew he was solid before trying to put the two of them back together. Then she guided us through the transition of moving Sienna from a cot in our room into her very first bed, and eventually into her shared room with her brother.
What blew us away was how smooth Ellie made the process. She broke it down so it never felt too big or too hard. She understood our worries as parents, but she also knew exactly what to say and do to help Sienna feel safe and secure through each change.
Now both kids are not only sleeping through the night, but they’re happily sharing a room together, and Sienna is so proud to be in her big girl bed. Our evenings are calmer, our nights are finally restful, and we’ve got our space back as adults.
Ellie has been amazing, her knowledge, her gentle approach, and the way she held our hand through the whole process was above and beyond. The transition from cot to bed and then into sibling room sharing could have been a complete disaster, but with her guidance it’s been one of the best changes we’ve made as a family. We couldn’t recommend her more highly!

Bec (Mum of Rhodes - 4 months)
Working with Ellie has been so positive for my baby and for myself.
Within a month my son has come so far. I feel sane again, I am a better mum for it, and my baby is happier every day getting the sleep he needs. Ellie is responsive, encouraging and empathetic. She was right beside me, every day, answered all my questions and we worked within what I was comfortable with. Ellie has supported and coached me to a place I now understand how to adjust naps and bedtime to meet my son’s ever changing day to day needs. Our family is so grateful and we recommend Ellie to anyone who is longing for help with sleep for their baby.
